Blooming Javelina Bush

Condalia ericoides. This small, almost insignificant shrub is usually all but invisible. But this year you can hardly see the bush for the flowers. Beautiful!

    This is one of my favorite plants, but I swear I’ve never seen it look so beautiful! It’s also a great spring bee plant and they, the robust, dark metallic blue, mason bees (Osmia), must have had a great spring too!
